Realme has confirmed more details about the upcoming Realme 16T ahead of its India launch on May 22. The smartphone will pack a massive 8,000 mAh battery, making it one of the biggest batteries in its segment.
The company has now revealed that the Realme 16T will feature a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The sensor used here is Sony’s IMX852. Interestingly, Realme has also added a small mirror on the rear panel. As a result, users can take selfies using the primary camera for better image quality.
Realme is also focusing heavily on long-term performance. The brand claims the phone will deliver six years of smooth and lag-free scrolling. In addition, the company promises seven years of battery health retention.
The Realme 16T will support 45W wired charging. It will also offer bypass charging and reverse-wired charging support. Despite the large battery, the device measures only 8.88 mm in thickness.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.8-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel can also reach up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness. Moreover, the device carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.
Realme will launch the phone in three color options, including Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green. According to a recent Geekbench listing, the Realme 16T is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset. The tested variant included 8GB of RAM.
