Vivo has expanded its Y600 lineup in China with a new mid-range smartphone focused on battery life and display performance. The company recently launched the Y600 Pro with a 10,200mAh battery. Now it has introduced the vivo Y600 Turbo with a 9,020mAh battery, and it is already on sale in China.
The vivo Y600 Turbo features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The screen also offers 1.5K resolution for sharper visuals. In addition, it can reach up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
The device runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM. Storage goes up to 512GB using UFS 3.1 technology. As a result, users get strong performance for daily use and multitasking.
On the camera side, the phone includes a dual rear setup. It has a 50MP main sensor for standard shots. Alongside it, there is a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device uses an 8MP front camera.
The biggest highlight of the vivo Y600 Turbo is its 9,020mAh battery. It supports 90W wired fast charging. Therefore, users can expect long backup with quick charging times.
In terms of durability and connectivity, the phone offers IP68 and IP69 ratings. It also supports 5G connectivity for faster networks. Moreover, it includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and an infrared blaster. An in-display fingerprint sensor is also part of the package. The phone runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6.
In China, pricing starts at CNY 2,299, which is around $340. This variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 12GB/256GB model is priced at CNY 2,599, or about $380. Meanwhile, the top 12GB/512GB version costs CNY 2,899, or roughly $425.
Finally, vivo offers the device in three color options. These include Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink.
