Honor may soon expand its X series lineup with a new smartphone in China. The upcoming device is expected to arrive as the Honor X80, following the launch of the Honor X80i last month.
A new leak from the source suggests that Honor plans to introduce a new X series phone in June. Although the source did not confirm the official name, the leaked details strongly point toward the Honor X80. The phone is expected to succeed the Honor X70.
According to the leak, the Honor X80 could feature a flat 6.8-inch LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution. The smartphone may also use a Snapdragon 6-series processor. Reports suggest it could be the newly announced Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset.
Honor may also focus heavily on battery life with this model. The device is rumored to pack a massive 10,000mAh battery. In addition, it could support 90W fast charging for quicker top-ups.
The leak also hints at a durable design. The Honor X80 may come with drop-resistant protection to improve durability during daily use. As for colors, the smartphone could launch in Lightning Red, Mystic Black, Moon Shadow White, and Vibrant Orange options.
Honor has not officially confirmed these details yet. However, if the leak proves accurate, the Honor X80 could become one of the most interesting mid-range phones in the company’s lineup this year.
