MG Motor Pakistan has introduced the all-new MG4 EV Urban, a technology-focused electric hatchback designed to bring intelligent mobility, advanced safety, practical electric range, and family-friendly usability to Pakistani consumers.
The MG4 EV Urban is part of MG’s expanding New Energy Vehicle lineup and reflects the brand’s commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and relevant for the local market. The launch event was attended by dealership leadership, media representatives, and industry stakeholders, with MG also conducting a dedicated product training session for its dealership teams.
The vehicle is built around a balance of performance, range, charging convenience, intelligent features, and everyday practicality. It comes equipped with a 43-kWh battery and a front-wheel-drive electric motor producing 110 kW of power and 250 Nm of torque. The vehicle delivers up to 316 km WLTP range, making it practical for city driving, daily commuting, family movement, and routine urban travel.
One of the key highlights of the MG4 EV Urban is its flexible charging capability. The vehicle supports both AC and DC charging, giving owners the choice to charge according to their schedule. AC charging can support routine charging convenience, while DC fast charging allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 28 minutes.
Inside, the MG4 EV Urban offers a digitally advanced cabin designed for today’s connected driver and family. The vehicle features a 12.8-inch HD infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and heated front seats. These features combine comfort with seamless connectivity, making the driving experience more intuitive and enjoyable.
Alongside its technology, the MG4 EV Urban has been designed with daily practicality in mind. Its spacious cabin provides comfort for passengers, while the practical trunk space can accommodate family luggage, groceries, and other everyday essentials. This makes it suitable not only for individuals, but also for families looking for a smart EV for daily use.
The MG4 EV Urban also introduces a strong package of driver assistance technologies through MG Pilot Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Key safety features include Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Keep Assist, and a 540-degree HD camera system. The camera system includes 360-degree visibility with transparent chassis view, supporting better awareness in tight parking areas and city driving conditions.
