Samsung could expand its Galaxy S lineup with a new Pro model in early 2027. According to recent rumors, the upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro may bring one of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s standout features to a wider audience.
A new leak from the source on Weibo claims that Samsung is testing a hardware-level privacy screen feature for the Galaxy S27 Pro. If the feature makes it to the final product, it would help keep on-screen content hidden from people viewing the display from the side.
Samsung first introduced the Privacy Display feature with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The technology is designed to protect sensitive information by limiting viewing angles, making it harder for others to see what is displayed on the screen.
Meanwhile, previous reports suggest the Galaxy S27 Pro will feature a 6.47-inch display paired with a 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone is also expected to feature a triple rear camera setup, similar to that of the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
However, the Galaxy S27 Pro may not share the exact camera hardware with the Ultra model. Rumors suggest that Samsung could use a different telephoto sensor on the Pro variant while keeping the overall camera configuration largely unchanged.
Although Samsung has not confirmed any details about the Galaxy S27 series, leaks continue to provide an early look at what the company may be planning for its next flagship lineup. More information is expected to surface as the launch date draws closer.
