Chery Master Pakistan has officially rolled off the locally assembled Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV, further expanding its footprint in Pakistan’s growing new energy vehicle market and adding a third plug-in hybrid SUV to its local production lineup.
With the introduction of the Tiggo 7 PHEV, the company now locally assembles three plug-in hybrid SUVs, including the Chery Tiggo 8 PHEV and Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV. The lineup spans the C-SUV, D-SUV, and E-SUV segments, making Chery one of the few automakers in Pakistan with a comprehensive locally assembled PHEV portfolio.
The rollout follows the successful launch and production of the Tiggo 8 PHEV and Tiggo 9 PHEV, both of which entered production within days of each other and were delivered to customers ahead of schedule.
According to the company, the latest milestone demonstrates its commitment to localization, manufacturing readiness, and timely customer deliveries. To meet growing demand, Chery Master Pakistan has expanded production capacity and introduced double-shift operations at its assembly facilities.
The move comes amid industry-wide discussions regarding potential policy and taxation changes that could influence vehicle prices in Pakistan.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV has been launched at an introductory ex-factory price of PKR 9,499,000, while the booking amount has been set at PKR 1,500,000.
Customers can place bookings and schedule test drives through authorized Chery dealerships across the country.
