The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced planned power outages in parts of Lahore on July 4 and July 5 due to maintenance and development work on the electricity distribution system.
According to a public notice issued by LESCO, electricity will be suspended in multiple areas at different times over the two days to facilitate repair and infrastructure upgrades.
Some feeders will experience outages from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on July 4, while others will face shutdowns during separate time slots on July 5, depending on the maintenance schedule.
The utility said the planned shutdowns are necessary to improve system reliability and ensure better electricity distribution in the future. Consumers have been advised to check the feeder-wise schedule and prepare accordingly.
LESCO urged residents to cooperate during the maintenance work and said the upgrades will help reduce unexpected breakdowns and improve service quality.
