Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 series continues to appear in leaks ahead of its expected launch in 2027. A fresh rumor now points to camera upgrades for the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra. Earlier today, another report also suggested that the entire Galaxy S27 lineup could include the Privacy Display feature, which first appeared on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
According to the latest rumor, both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a new 16MP front camera. The leak does not reveal many technical details. However, the source believes Samsung could use a square image sensor. This idea is based on Apple’s reported design for the iPhone 17 series. Still, this remains speculation for now.
The same report does not rule out the new 16MP selfie camera for the standard Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27+. However, there is no confirmation that these two models will receive the same upgrade.
Besides the front camera, the leak also mentions improvements to the rear camera setup. Both the Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are said to include a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera.
The Galaxy S27 Pro is also expected to become a new member of Samsung’s flagship lineup in 2027. According to the rumor, it will serve as a smaller version of the Galaxy S27 Ultra. However, unlike the Ultra model, it will not include an S Pen.
As with previous early leaks, Samsung has not confirmed any of these details. Therefore, the final specifications could change before the Galaxy S27 series officially launches.
