The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has invited faculty members from public and private universities to apply for Phase XIII of the Pak-France PERIDOT Mobility Grant Programme, aimed at strengthening scientific and technological collaboration between Pakistan and France.
The programme is jointly administered by HEC Pakistan, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development (MAEDI), and the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR). It supports researcher mobility and promotes partnerships between higher education institutions and research laboratories in both countries.
For the latest phase, HEC has identified three priority research areas:
- Health Sciences
- Sustainable Energy, Agriculture and Food Security
- Economics of Climate Change
To be eligible, applicants must submit a joint research proposal with a faculty member from a French institution. HEC has also made it mandatory for applicants to first submit their joint application through Campus France before applying for the grant.
The online application portal opened on July 6, 2026, while the deadline for submitting proposals is September 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM (PST).
The PERIDOT programme, which operates under the Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC), continues to provide Pakistani researchers with opportunities for international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint scientific research with French institutions.
Interested candidates can access detailed eligibility criteria and application guidelines through the official HEC website.
