However, you must clear your dues before the August 31, 2026, deadline. This special concession aims to facilitate citizens while actively encouraging timely tax compliance.
To claim this discount, citizens must process their payments conveniently through the e-Pay Punjab digital system. Therefore, you do not need to waste time standing in physical queues to pay your Motor Vehicle Token Tax. By utilizing this platform before the late-August deadline, vehicle owners will successfully avoid hefty late payment penalties. Furthermore, they will seamlessly ensure their compliance with all applicable government regulations.
The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) developed this digital payment infrastructure. Speaking on the initiative this past Monday, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf highlighted the provincial government’s broader digital vision.
He stated that the e-Pay system delivers a modern, secure, and fully transparent mechanism for handling government payments. Ultimately, the main objective behind this initiative is to make public services much more accessible to the masses. Moreover, it creates a convenient and highly efficient user experience through the rapid adoption of digital technologies.
