MG Pakistan has started local production of the MG HS Hybrid+ (HEV) and Super Hybrid (PHEV) SUV models, after completing the CKD (completely knocked down) line-off ceremony for the vehicles.
The company said the locally assembled models would bring hybrid technology, updated features and fuel-efficient mobility options to Pakistans growing hybrid vehicle market.
Amir Nazir, chief operating officer of MG Pakistan, said the milestone reflected the companys efforts to bring hybrid vehicles and advanced automotive technologies closer to local customers.
