Saudi Arabia has launched a new Package Visa initiative that combines tourist visa applications with travel bookings, making it easier for international visitors, including Pakistanis, to plan their trips.
The initiative, announced by the Saudi Tourism Authority, allows eligible travelers to apply for a tourist visa while booking an all-in-one travel package through approved travel providers. Instead of arranging visas, flights, hotels, and activities separately, visitors can complete the entire process through a single booking.
The integrated travel packages may include:
- Tourist visa application
- Flight bookings
- Hotel accommodation
- Guided tours
- Events and tourism activities
The move is aimed at simplifying travel arrangements and providing a more convenient experience for international tourists.
Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb said the new Package Visa initiative is designed to make Saudi Arabia a more accessible destination for travelers from around the world by streamlining the visa and booking process.
Saudi Arabia remains one of the most popular destinations for Pakistanis, who travel to the Kingdom for Hajj, Umrah, employment, business, and tourism.
According to Pakistan’s travel industry, the number of Pakistani travelers to Saudi Arabia increased from 2.7 million in 2024 to an estimated 2.87 million in 2025, reflecting growing travel demand between the two countries.
Saudi authorities said the Package Visa will initially be available through selected travel and tourism providers that meet the Kingdom’s service standards and offer 24/7 customer support.
The initiative will first be introduced through selected international travel partners before being expanded to additional markets in the future.
