The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued a public warning after a fake letter regarding the LLB four-year programme duration and GAT eligibility began circulating on social media.
In an official statement, HEC categorically declared that the letter is forged and was not issued by the commission. The regulator said the document contains false and misleading information.
HEC advised students, universities, and the general public not to trust, share, or act upon the fake notification.
The commission urged everyone to verify educational announcements only through HEC’s official website and its verified social media platforms to avoid falling victim to misinformation.
I’m HEC reiterated that any updates regarding academic programmes, admissions, eligibility criteria, or examinations will only be communicated through its official channels.
