The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced an extended evening shift for its consular services, allowing citizens to access these services for longer hours starting immediately.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced the decision on social media platform X, stating that citizens will now be able to avail consular services from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Dar said the extended hours would make consular services more accessible, convenient and effective for the public. He added that the decision was aimed at facilitating citizens and further improving the overall service delivery system of the ministry.
The move is part of the governments broader commitment to providing better and easier facilities to the public through improved institutional services.
