The Punjab government has launched a Juvenile Driving Permit service at all e-Khidmat Markaz centers, allowing eligible teenagers aged 16 to 18 years to apply for permits aimed at promoting safe and responsible driving.
To qualify, applicants must possess a valid NADRA B-Form or Smart Card, obtain written consent from a parent or legal guardian, and successfully pass both the traffic signs written test and the practical driving examination.
Successful applicants will receive a Juvenile Driving Permit authorizing them to operate motorcycles, scooters, and electric bikes with an engine capacity of up to 125cc. The initiative is intended to encourage compliance with traffic laws and improve road safety among young motorists.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the initiative reflects the Punjab government’s commitment to providing modern, secure, and citizen-friendly public services while fostering responsible driving habits among the youth.
The Juvenile Driving Permit facility is now available at all e-Khidmat Markaz centers across Punjab. For more information, citizens can visit the official e-Khidmat Markaz website.
