Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy S26 FE is on the way. A company executive recently acknowledged the phone, and another Samsung representative suggested it will arrive later this year. While the company has not shared official details yet, a new leak has revealed the phone’s camera hardware.
According to the source, the publication reviewed information from a trusted source that outlines the Galaxy S26 FE’s camera setup. The report claims the upcoming phone, which carries the codename “r14,” will keep most of the same camera hardware found on the Galaxy S25 FE.
The leak says Samsung will use a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN3 sensor as the main camera. It will also include an 8MP OmniVision OV08A1 sensor for the 3x telephoto camera. These are the same primary and telephoto sensors used in last year’s Galaxy S25 FE.
The report also mentions two more camera sensors. These include a 12MP GalaxyCore GC12A2 sensor and a 12MP Sony IMX825 sensor. However, it remains unclear which sensor will power the ultrawide camera and which one will handle selfies.
Even so, both the ultrawide and front cameras are expected to offer 12MP resolution. That matches the camera setup of the Galaxy S25 FE. The similarities do not stop with the cameras. The Galaxy S26 FE is also expected to keep the same charging speed as its predecessor. A recent certification revealed support for 45W wired charging, which is identical to the Galaxy S25 FE.
Samsung has yet to confirm these hardware details. However, if this leak proves accurate, the Galaxy S26 FE could focus on refining the overall experience instead of introducing major camera upgrades. More official information is expected closer to the phone’s launch later this year.
