Redmi has shared more information about the upcoming K100 Pro before its official launch next week. The company previously confirmed that the smartphone will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V chipset. It will also feature a 6.59-inch display.
The latest details focus on the phone’s camera and battery. According to Redmi’s posts on Weibo, the K100 Pro will include a triple rear camera system. The setup is led by a 200MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). The company also confirmed an ultrawide camera and a telephoto camera. The telephoto lens will support macro photography from as close as 10cm.
Redmi also revealed the battery specifications of the K100 Pro. The smartphone will carry a large 8,580mAh battery with 26 percent ultra-high silicon-carbon content.
In addition, the K100 Pro will support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It will also offer 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.
The Redmi K100 Pro will launch alongside the Redmi K100 Pro Max in China on August 11. Redmi has already confirmed several key specifications for the Pro Max model. It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a 6.9-inch AMOLED display, and a triple rear camera setup. More details about both smartphones are expected at the launch event on August 11.
