Punjab is taking a massive leap toward digital infrastructure. Recently, all nine Punjab educational boards officially approved a new Digital Result Card System. With this transition, Punjab permanently phases out traditional printed result cards. Instead, the boards are shifting all examination records and student services entirely online.
Authorities will introduce this new system in two distinct phases. First, the Punjab boards will issue digital result cards to Class 9 and First Year students for their annual examination results. Following this initial rollout, they will extend the system to Class 10 and Second Year students in the second phase.
Students will no longer waste time waiting for physical mail or visiting board offices. The boards will make these digital documents available online immediately upon announcing the results. Regular students will download their cards directly through their respective institutions’ online portals. Meanwhile, private candidates will access their documents from the relevant educational board’s official portal.
The boards have integrated robust electronic security measures into the digital files. Each digital result card includes a built-in QR code. This specific feature allows universities, employers, and organizations to verify the document’s authenticity instantly.
Furthermore, the Punjab boards guarantee that these digital cards carry the exact same official status as conventional paper documents. Therefore, students can confidently use them for college and university admissions, job applications, scholarships, equivalence certificates, and all official verification purposes.
