Pakistan Railways is set to improve passenger facilities at Lahore Railway Station after CEO M. Hafeez Ullah Khan conducted an inspection of the station and reviewed ongoing development work.
During his visit, the CEO inspected the Lahore Reservation Office and directed officials to upgrade the facility to provide passengers with a more comfortable and efficient environment.
He also visited VIP lounges, family lounges, family halls and waiting areas on platforms 2 and 4. Khan reviewed the availability of cold drinking water and instructed officials to ensure better facilities for passengers.
The Pakistan Railways CEO also interacted with passengers and listened to their complaints and suggestions. He directed railway officials to address public grievances promptly and take measures to improve the overall passenger experience.
Khan later inspected the parcel office and warehouse, where he reviewed the process for receiving and dispatching goods and issued instructions to the relevant staff.
During an earlier visit to Lahore Railway Station with Lahore Divisional Superintendent Railways Inam Ullah, the CEO had decided to extend two platforms. The planned extension is aimed at facilitating passengers and improving railway operations.
Khan emphasized that Pakistan Railways will continue to prioritize safe, comfortable and quality travel facilities for passengers.
