Jazz led the complaints chart among Pakistani telecom operators in September 2026, drawing 3,005 user grievances during the month. Telenor followed with 1,325 complaints, while Zong landed at 1,309 and Ufone trailed with 985. Overall, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority received 7,400 complaints across the industry and resolved 7,071 of them, which works out to 95.55%.
Of the full basket, 6,658 complaints targeted cellular mobile operators, so this category carried the heaviest load by far. However, the regulator still cleared 6,434 of these cases, hitting a resolution rate of 96.65% for mobile networks alone. In other words, nearly every cellular grievance found some form of response during the month.
Jazz, despite topping the volume list, posted the strongest resolution rate at 97%, since the operator closed 2,915 of 3,005 complaints. Telenor settled 1,282 of its 1,325 cases, which translates to 96.75%, while Zong wrapped up 1,263 of 1,309 and landed at 96.59%. Ufone closed 943 of 985 and finished at 95.74%, which still beats most non-mobile categories.
Outside the cellular segment, the picture turned rougher. Basic telephony services drew 131 complaints during September, yet only 111 of these moved to closure, so the resolution rate dropped to 84.73%. Internet service providers fared similarly, since they received 611 complaints and resolved just 525, which pushes their rate to 85.92%.
For everyday users, these numbers suggest that mobile operators handle grievances faster, while fixed-line and broadband services still lag behind. Furthermore, the gap between mobile and broadband resolution rates sits above 10 points. That matters when a dropped connection stalls work or classes.
The PTA has not yet released a sector-wide action plan tied to this September data. However, the regulator keeps publishing monthly tallies, so operators now face sustained scrutiny over both volumes and closure speed. Users with pending issues can still file fresh complaints through the PTA portal and short code 0800-55055.
