Meta expanded access to its revamped Creator Studio app on August 12, opening the AI-powered content management tool to all iOS users in the United States and Canada. The company first announced the app’s return in June 2026 after previously retiring the brand. It had merged creator tools into Meta Business Suite, but creators wanted a dedicated space back.
The new version operates as a standalone app deliberately separated from the main Facebook experience, and that design choice defines everything about it. Meta said every creator in the initial test group described the same problem. They get distracted by Reels, Feed posts, and DMs inside Facebook’s main app. Creator Studio removes those distractions entirely. It gives creators a dedicated workspace focused on content performance, audience growth, and publishing.
The AI integration runs deeper than surface-level analytics and touches nearly every part of the creator workflow inside the app. The system generates personalized recommendations for each creator individually. It tells them what to try next and what to keep doing. It also highlights what has driven success for similar creators. These are not generic tips from a static knowledge base. Meta’s AI analyzes performance data, engagement patterns, and content history specifically. The guidance changes as the creator’s channel evolves over time.
The AI-powered comment reply feature will draw the most debate among creators and audiences who encounter it in practice. Creator Studio surfaces comments worth responding to automatically. It then drafts responses in the creator’s own voice. The creator retains final approval before anything goes live. Meta frames this as engagement “without sacrificing authenticity.” However, an AI drafting replies in someone’s voice is convenient for the creator. It is potentially misleading for the audience member expecting a personal response.
Early results from Meta’s test group are strong enough to justify serious attention from creators evaluating whether the tool fits their workflows. One tester gained 4,000 followers from a single video. That video was created based on Creator Studio’s AI recommendations. Another creator increased earnings by 144% in just seven days. Test creators also reported higher engagement from responding to more comments. Creator Studio’s drafting system made that volume manageable.
The app currently remains limited to iOS in the US and Canada, with no confirmed timeline for Android availability or expansion to additional markets. Meta typically expands successful creator tools globally within six to twelve months. For creators outside North America, the rollout timeline remains unclear but historically follows that pattern.
