Huawei has confirmed that the Nova 16 Pro series will expand to global markets. The company introduced the Nova 16 series in China back in June. Now, the Nova 16s Pro will make its global debut on September 2. Huawei will announce the phone at its global launch event in Munich, Germany.
Huawei will add an “s” to the global model name. This follows the company’s recent approach with the Pura 90s Pro Max. The Nova 16s Pro will also retain the pink and blue gradient finish. Huawei uses the same colors for the Chinese version of the phone.
However, Huawei has not confirmed whether the global model will receive any hardware changes. The Chinese version comes with a 6.84-inch LTPO OLED display. The panel offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone uses Huawei’s Kirin 9010S chipset.
The device also packs a large 7,000mAh battery. Its camera setup includes a 200 MP main camera for photography. Huawei will also introduce the Watch 6 at the same event. The smartwatch recently appeared in a teaser from the company.
The Watch 6 will launch alongside the Nova 16s Pro. It will also keep a design similar to its predecessor.
