Tecno has expanded its partnership with Italian luxury lifestyle brand Tonino Lamborghini with a new special edition smartphone. The Tecno Pova 8 Pro Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition follows the earlier Pova Metal Tonino Lamborghini Edition. While its hardware remains unchanged, the new model brings a distinctive design and custom software experience.
The special edition uses several red design elements inspired by the Italian luxury brand. Red accents surround the triangular rear camera module, which includes two camera sensors, an LED flash, and a matrix display. Tecno has also added a red Power button to give the phone a more recognizable appearance.
A vertically placed red “Pulse Line” runs through the center of the rear panel. The pattern changes visually when light falls on it, creating a shifting effect. Meanwhile, a metallic and embossed Tonino Lamborghini logo completes the phone’s redesigned rear panel.
Tecno has also changed the software experience for this limited edition model. The phone comes with a custom boot animation, lockscreen, live wallpaper, icons, and widgets. It also includes special visual effects designed for the Alive Matrix Display.
The Tecno Pova 8 Pro Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition carries the same hardware as the standard model. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G chipset and includes a dedicated P1 graphics chip.
Tecno says the P1 graphics chip is designed to improve gaming performance. The device also offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. These specifications place the limited edition model alongside the standard Pova 8 Pro in terms of performance.
For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYT-700C primary rear camera. It works alongside an 8MP ultrawide sensor for wider shots. On the front, Tecno has included a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone also packs a 6,500mAh battery and includes a customizable One-Tap button. With its unchanged specifications and redesigned exterior, the Tecno Pova 8 Pro Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition focuses on offering a more exclusive version of the regular model.
The latest launch further expands Tecno’s collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini. The partnership combines Tecno’s smartphone hardware with the Italian brand’s distinctive design language.
