Vivo has confirmed the launch date for its upcoming X500 series during the vivo Creator Festival in China. The company also shared new details about its next flagship smartphones at the event. According to a post shared on Weibo, the vivo X500 series will launch in China on September 21. The lineup will include three models: the standard vivo X500, vivo X500 Pro, and vivo X500 Pro Max.
Vivo has also opened a dedicated page for the new lineup on its official China website. Interested buyers can now pre-reserve the upcoming smartphones ahead of their official release. The September 21 event will not focus only on smartphones. Vivo will also introduce new ear-clip headphones and the Vivo Watch 6 alongside the X500 series.
Meanwhile, Vivo has already revealed several key specifications for its upcoming flagship phones. The Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will feature a new primary rear camera sensor and a 2nm Dimensity chipset.
The standard Vivo X500 will take a slightly different approach. It will use the same primary and telephoto camera sensors found on the vivo X300 Pro. More details about the X500 series are expected before the September 21 launch. Vivo will likely reveal additional specifications and features as the launch date gets closer.
