Huawei has fully unveiled the Pura X View after revealing some of its details last month. The company has now confirmed the phone’s full specifications, pricing, and launch date. The device also stands out with its unusual form factor and high-end hardware.
The Pura X View features a 6.39-inch OLED display with a 1320×2232 resolution. It uses a 16:9.5 aspect ratio and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Huawei claims peak brightness can reach 6,500 nits at 1% APL.
The display is protected by Kunlun Glass and supports 2,160Hz PWM dimming. Huawei has also kept the bezels symmetrical on all four sides. Each bezel measures just 1.05mm, giving the phone a clean front design.
On the back, the phone has a 200MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The sensor also supports optical image stabilization. It is joined by an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus.
A 50MP periscope telephoto camera completes the rear setup. It features an f/2.6 aperture and OIS, along with an 88mm-equivalent focal length. For selfies, Huawei has added a 50MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
Powering the Pura X View is Huawei’s Kirin 9030S chipset. The phone comes with 12GB of RAM and offers 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. This gives buyers several options based on their storage needs. The device packs a large 7,000mAh battery. It supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Huawei also includes reverse wired and reverse wireless charging for powering other devices.
On the software side, the Pura X View runs HarmonyOS 7. The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also supports BeiDou satellite messaging and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Huawei will sell the phone in black, white, gray, and red. The 256GB model starts at CNY 5,999 ($893). The 512GB version costs CNY 6,999 ($1,042), while the 1TB model reaches CNY 8,499 ($1,266). The Pura X View is currently available for pre-order in China. Huawei will officially release it on September 9 at 10:08 AM local time. The company has not yet shared details about availability in other markets.
