Vivo has revealed the design of the standard X500 ahead of its September 21 launch in China. The company has also confirmed the phone’s color options. The vivo X500 will get a major rear design change compared with the vivo X300. Its new camera setup uses a large circular module placed toward the left side.
The LED flash sits outside the circular camera module. Meanwhile, the full camera system is placed inside a raised rectangular section. This camera plateau stretches across the width of the phone. The design gives the X500 a different look from its predecessor.
Vivo has also confirmed an important camera detail for the standard X500. The phone will use the same main and telephoto sensors found on the vivo X300 Pro. The company has revealed four color options for the X500. These include black, light gray, light pink, and another version with a gradient finish.
The standard Vivo X500 will also look noticeably different from the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max. Vivo recently showed the design of the X500 Pro Max, giving buyers a clearer look at the upcoming lineup. With the China launch set for September 21, more details about the X500 series should follow soon.
