The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), in collaboration with Border Health Services and the Ministry of National Health Services, has introduced a simplified procedure for Pakistani Hajj and Umrah pilgrims to obtain mandatory vaccination cards.
Under the new process, pilgrims can complete the required steps in three stages. They can first complete biometric verification and pay the prescribed fee from home through the Pak ID mobile app or by visiting a nearby e-Sahulat franchise.
After reaching the airport, pilgrims must visit the Federal Government Civil Dispensary counter approved by Border Health Services. They will be required to present their biometric verification and fee payment certificate to receive the required influenza and meningitis vaccinations.
Once the vaccinations have been administered, pilgrims can download their NADRA vaccination card through the National Immunization Management System.
Border Health Services has made the NADRA-issued vaccination card mandatory for Pakistani Hajj and Umrah pilgrims in line with Saudi Arabia’s travel requirements.
From September 14, 2026, travelers without valid proof of vaccination will not be allowed to travel, making it essential for pilgrims to complete the required vaccination process before departure.
