Pakistan Hajj Portal has confirmed bookings for 11,600 private pilgrims so far this season, while 60,000 seats under the Private Hajj Scheme are still available, the Ministry of Religious Affairs said.
A ministry spokesperson said registered Hajj organizers have listed Economy, Standard, and Premium packages for pilgrims on the portal.
So far, 25 organizers have received Rs 10 billion in dues from applicants, of which more than Rs 4 billion was deposited online through the portal, which was developed by the National IT Board.
The Ministry reiterated that all Hajj-related payments must be made exclusively through the official “Pak Hajj App” or the Hajj Portal. It warned pilgrims against transferring funds directly to any unauthorized individual or company.
Bookings under the Private Hajj Scheme will remain open until November 20, or until all available seats are filled, whichever occurs first.
