Honor has listed the Honor 600 Elite 5G on its LATAM website. This adds a new model to the global Honor 600 lineup. The phone joins the Honor 600, Honor 600 Pro, and Honor 600 Elite. These models were launched earlier this year. The new device puts more focus on battery life and durability.
It comes with an 8,100mAh battery and supports 45W Honor SuperCharge. The phone also carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings.
Honor 600 Elite 5G Display and Durability
The Honor 600 Elite 5G features a 6.87-inch TFT LCD. The display has a resolution of 1592 × 720 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. The panel can also reach up to 1,020 nits of HBM brightness.
Honor has given the phone several protection ratings. It has IP68, IP69, and IP69K certification for dust and water resistance. The company says the phone can handle water temperatures of up to 85°C. It has also been tested through 10,000 water exposure cycles.
The device comes with SGS-certified drop and crush resistance. Honor says it can survive drops from up to 2.5 meters in its lab tests. The phone will be sold in Desert Gold, Velvet Black, and Meteor Silver. However, availability may vary across different markets.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 and MagicOS 10.0
The Honor 600 Elite 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Honor RAM Turbo can provide up to 16GB of virtual RAM. This gives the phone what Honor calls a 24GB-equivalent memory experience.
On the software side, the phone runs MagicOS 10.0 based on Android 16. It also includes a dedicated AI button for quick access to several tools. These features include AI Summary, AI Writing, Circle to Search, and AI Memory. Honor has also added AI 2.0 for its camera system.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual speakers. The speakers support a 400% volume boost. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, and dual Nano SIM support. The phone also supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1.
A USB-C port is included alongside a 3.5mm headphone jack. This gives users both wired and wireless connectivity options.
108MP Camera and AI Features
The Honor 600 Elite 5G has a 108MP main rear camera. It uses an f/1.75 aperture and is paired with an auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 5MP front camera. Honor has also added AI 2.0 to expand its camera features.
One feature can turn still images into videos using AI. The company has not provided further details about the feature yet.
8,100mAh Battery With 45W Charging
The phone’s biggest hardware feature is its 8,100mAh battery. Its nominal rated capacity is listed at 7,900mAh. Charging is handled by 45W Honor SuperCharge. Honor says the battery can operate between -30°C and 50°C.
The company also claims the battery can maintain its durability and performance for up to six years. This could make battery longevity a key selling point for the device. Honor has not revealed the price of the Honor 600 Elite 5G yet. The company has also not confirmed its sale date.
The listed version comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Sales channels and availability for individual global markets remain unconfirmed.
