Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has approved a bonus for its officers and employees despite the federal government’s ongoing austerity measures.
The LESCO Board of Directors approved the payment, with bonus disbursements now underway for officers and staff. The total amount of the bonus has not been disclosed.
The decision comes despite federal government directives urging public institutions and departments to reduce spending and control expenditures.
