Oppo has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Find X10 Pro Max. The phone is powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. It competes directly with the vivo X500 Pro Max, which was unveiled yesterday.
Oppo has pushed the camera system further with three 200MP sensors on the rear. The main camera uses a 1/1.3-inch type sensor with an f/1.5 aperture. It also supports two-axis optical image stabilization (OIS).
The 13mm ultrawide camera uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It also features autofocus and offers a 124-degree field of view. Meanwhile, the 70mm telephoto camera uses another 1/1.56-inch type sensor.
The telephoto camera has an f/2.1 aperture and two-axis OIS. It can also focus from as close as 10cm for macro shots. At 1x zoom, Oppo claims the main camera can deliver 17 stops of dynamic range. For selfies, the Find X10 Pro Max features a 50MP front camera. Autofocus is also included for the front sensor. The phone packs an 8,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC wired charging.
It also supports 50W wireless charging. Oppo says the battery should retain at least 80% of its capacity after five years of use. This gives the flagship a strong focus on long-term battery life.
The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1272×2772 resolution. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate in some games, while system-wide refresh rate is limited to 120Hz. The display also offers 288Hz touch sampling and 2,000-nit peak brightness.
The Find X10 Pro Max runs ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. It also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. This provides protection against several levels of water and dust exposure. Oppo will offer the phone in Moon White, Warm Orange, and Light Titanium. The device measures 161.32 x 76.57 x 8.4mm. It weighs 233g in Moon White and 235g in the other two colors.
Pre-orders start at CNY 6,799 ($1,015) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 512GB version costs CNY 7,499 ($1,120). A 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 7,999 ($1,194). The top-end model comes with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It costs CNY 8,999 ($1,344). Pre-orders will begin shipping on September 24.
