iQOO has shared more details about its upcoming Pad Pro 8.8 gaming tablet. The device will retain several key features from the iQOO Pad Ultra, including its 8.8-inch 165Hz OLED display and 9,020mAh battery.
The company confirmed the specifications on Weibo today. The tablet will also measure 5.74mm thick and weigh 298g, matching the Ultra model. Moreover, it will feature an Ice Dome cooling system with a 30 x 30 x 3.5mm active fan and three intelligent fan speeds. Its total heat dissipation area will reach 23,253mm².
However, the biggest difference could be the chipset. Rumors suggest the Pad Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 alongside iQOO’s Q3 gaming chip. In comparison, the Pad Ultra features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and the Q4 gaming chip.
This hardware change could help iQOO offer the Pad Pro at a lower price while keeping its gaming performance competitive. The company has not yet confirmed the chipset details. The iQOO Pad Pro 8.8 is expected to launch later this month alongside the iQOO Neo12. Meanwhile, reservations for the tablet are already open in China.
