Meta has quietly launched a new AI fashion app called Style Sketch, aimed at helping users plan outfits from their own wardrobe. The app is now live on iOS and Android in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand. Meta has not confirmed a wider rollout, and the company declined to comment on the launch.
Style Sketch builds a digital closet from clothes users already own. Users can connect Instagram so the app pulls photos they have posted. They can snap pictures, record short videos, or upload images from the camera roll. The app then suggests outfit combinations tailored to each user’s style.

A virtual try-on feature puts the outfit on a model matched to the user’s body shape and skin tone. Users can pick one wardrobe item and get full outfit ideas built around it. Furthermore, a trip planning feature creates a day-by-day outfit plan once users enter the destination, length of the trip, and planned activities. The suggestions account for the local weather forecast too.
Meta joins a crowded space here. Rival apps like Alta already offer AI-powered closet tools, while Google Photos provides digital closet features of its own. However, Meta’s edge is Instagram integration, since millions of users already share outfit photos on the platform. That pool of real-world fashion content gives Style Sketch a head start on training data.
The app is part of a broader AI push at Meta. The company has released several standalone AI tools this year, including Waddle World, a vibe-coding tool called Pocket, and the Vibes AI video generation app. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reportedly told staff that Meta plans to launch far more apps than before.
