Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated the Green Bus Project in Attock, introducing 15 electric buses on three routes across the city. The initiative aims to improve public transport facilities and make daily commuting easier for residents, particularly students.
During her visit, Maryam Nawaz inspected an electric bus and reviewed the transport service. She announced that students could travel free of charge, making it easier for them to commute between their homes, colleges, and universities without worrying about transportation expenses.
The service connects different residential areas with educational institutions and is part of the Punjab government’s efforts to provide affordable and accessible public transport across the province.
