Official PlayStation partner Razer recently unveiled its most premium PS5 controller to date. The brand-new Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition PS5 controller officially launches next week on November 10, 2026. Furthermore, this highly exclusive controller will see a limited worldwide production run of just 1,337 units.
Razer Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition PS5 Controller Design
Unlike most standard PS5 controllers, the new Raiju V3 Pro utilizes a magnesium alloy exoskeleton. This lightweight metal mixture directly enables the controller’s open-air polygonal design. This structural choice marks a massive first for the product line. Consequently, the unique design gives the gamepad a distinctive look while simultaneously keeping it light. Despite the premium materials, the Signature Edition weighs roughly 9.2 ounces, keeping it on par with the standard version.
The controller also introduces a brand-new laser-etched glass touchpad alongside a micro-textured TPU grip. However, some fans worry about the bold open-air design. Specifically, they fear dust and debris might collect beneath the exoskeleton over time. Currently, Razer has not officially addressed this potential issue.
Premium Hardware & PC Compatibility
Beyond its striking aesthetics, the Raiju V3 Pro Signature Edition packs serious hardware. Although designed specifically for the PS5, the controller also fully supports Windows 11 PCs. Inside the box, players receive a HyperSpeed dongle. This specific accessory enables a massive 2,000 Hz polling rate on PC, effectively reducing input latency to a minimum.
Moreover, competitive gamers get six mappable buttons and removable mouse-click buttons. The package includes anti-drift, adjustable TMR thumbsticks with both short and tall concave options. Additionally, the controller supports Razer’s proprietary apps. Therefore, users can dive into deep customization and create up to four unique keybinding profiles.
Pricing, Availability & Unconfirmed Battery Life
Interested buyers must act fast. The controller retails for $349.99 USD in the United States. Meanwhile, international gamers will pay £349.99 GBP or €368.99 EUR. Fans can only purchase the device directly through Razer.com and select Razer retail stores. Since only 1,337 individually serialized units exist, Razer will sell them strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
This $350 price tag makes it approximately 40% more expensive than the standard $219.99 Raiju V3 Pro. However, buyers receive a highly premium bundle. The package includes a vegan leather box, the HyperSpeed dongle, swappable thumbsticks, back button covers, an anodized aluminum torque driver, and a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable.
Explaining the steep price, Razer stated:
Signature Edition status is reserved for concepts that push boundaries—where deeper research, advanced materials/finishes, and tighter tolerances deliver a result that cannot be achieved through conventional means.
Currently, one crucial detail remains unconfirmed: the battery life. On average, the standard PS5 DualSense controller lasts between 6 and 12 hours. Conversely, the standard Razer Raiju V3 boasts a massive 36 hours of battery life. If this new limited edition matches its predecessor, it will easily outlast standard PlayStation controllers. Ultimately, its steep price and extreme rarity firmly cement it as a high-end collector’s item.
