Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has announced the examination arrangements for students in Grades 5 and 8, outlining changes to the assessment process across the province.
According to the minister, Grade 8 students will take examinations in four major subjects, following the same format used in the previous assessment. The exams will be conducted on e-sheets, while online screen marking will be introduced to ensure transparency and fairness in the checking process.
Meanwhile, Grade 5 students will undergo a holistic assessment instead of conventional examinations. Hayat said the assessment process would be conducted fairly and transparently to evaluate students’ overall performance.
