Amazon has expanded the reach of their online video-on-demand service to more than 200 countries worldwide. Pakistan, which recently saw the launch of Netflix, is also included in this list.

What is Amazon Prime Video?

Amazon Prime Video is a Netflix-Esque service which provides users access to a number of shows like Mozart in the Jungle, Transparent, The Man in the High Castle, and The Grand Tour. Like Netflix, Prime Video also supports downloading content for the offline viewing experience.

Prime video is currently available at an introductory price of $2.99 per month (about 310 Pakistani Rupees). This promotion is valid for six months only after which price will be increased to $5.99 (about 630 Pakistani Rupees) per month. In addition to this, Prime Video also offers 7 days of free trial. Keep in mind that you will need a credit card to sign up and use the service (few debit cards which support online payments will also work).

To start using the service, just go to and sign up right now for a 7-day free trial.
