Amazon Web Services And Edx

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and online education portal edX have partnered up to give $1,000 in AWS credit to anyone who completes a course on entrepreneurship. The credit can be used to purchase processor time or storage in Amazon’s cloud for your startup.

Amazon Web Services provide businesses with low cost, easy to use infrastructure required to scale and grow any company.
If you are about to start a company, want to scale existing business or access a global network of entrepreneurs then AWS Activate can help you get started. You will be eligible for the offer when you enroll in the verified track in anyone of MITx’s Entrepreneurship courses 101 or 102 on edX and receive a passing grade in the course.

The AWS offer includes $1000 in AWS credits which will be valid for two years, free access to AWS essentials such as instructor-led training and self-paced labs, one month premium AWS Business support and special offers from other companies. AWS Activate is limited to one per person.

The classes will start on January 9, 2015 so you have some time to look through the course summaries on edX page.
