In a matter of hours, Apple will be unveiling their latest products – the iPhone SE and the iPad Pro. For several months now, speculations have been running wild about what card Apple will play next. Those speculations will either be proved true or put to rest when Apple goes live with their 21st March launch.
The main attraction is definitely the iPhone SE. The new smartphone is expected to be smaller than the last two generations – 6, 6S and their ‘Plus’ variants. The phone is to cater to the user base that was less than happy with Apple venturing into Android-like, large smartphones. Analysts predict that the phone will measure a handy 4 inches forming an amalgam of features from the iPhone 5, 6 and 6S. Apple will probably save any new, ground-breaking features for their flagship phones. Hence nothing new is expected of this phone – same old Touch ID support, though sadly no 3D Touch, probably a better camera and more body color variants. The price is expected to be reasonable iPhone SE is very much reminiscent of the iPhone 5C. We wonder if its fate will be repeated here.
The next product to be revealed it a smaller iPad Pro. It is predited some Apple Watch wristbands will also make an appearance and possibly and iOS update. Nothing groundbreaking.
If you’re hoping to catch a glimpse of the products, Apple will be live streaming the launch. The starting time is 10 PM PST. The live stream is available via a dedicated channel on the Apple TV set-top box, the Safari browser on OS X and iOS devices. Windows 10 users can watch in the Microsoft Edge.
