Arslan Ash To Compete In Tekken 8 At Record Breaking Esports World Cup 2025

Pakistan’s fighting game legend, Arslan Ash (Arslan Siddique), is all set to represent the country once again on the global stage as he competes in Tekken 8 at the highly anticipated Esports World Cup 2025, scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.




Organized over seven action-packed weeks from July 7 to August 4, the event will host over 2,000 players from around the world, representing more than 200 clubs, and featuring 25 competitive games across various genres. With a record-breaking prize pool of $70 million, the tournament is set to become one of the most lucrative events in esports history.

Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, expressed his excitement, stating:

“The record-breaking $70+ million prize pool, along with our commitment to the Club Partner Program and our multi-year publisher agreements, is a privilege to announce and validation of our purpose to elevate the industry. We’re focused on giving players, clubs, publishers and all other stakeholders the stability needed to invest for future success.”




Arslan Ash will compete in Week 6, when Tekken 8 takes center stage. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Tekken players of all time, Arslan has solidified his legacy by winning five EVO titles, including:

  • EVO Japan 2019
  • EVO 2019 (USA)
  • EVO Japan 2023
  • EVO 2023 (USA)
  • EVO 2024 (Tekken 8)

His remarkable consistency and dominance in the international fighting game scene have made him a symbol of pride for Pakistan’s gaming community.
