The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part II (Class X) General Group results for 2026 on Tuesday, becoming the first education board in Sindh to declare results for both regular and private candidates this year.
Female students secured all three top positions. Tooba Fatima of Hifaz Girls Secondary School, North Nazimabad, topped the list with 90.27 percent. Amina Asad of Lycee Bahadurabad School stood second with 87.82 percent, while Safia Munawar, also from Hifaz Girls Secondary School, took third place with 87.73 percent.

A total of 15,446 students had registered for the examinations, of whom 14,749 appeared and 697 remained absent.
BSEK Chairman Prof. Musharraf Ali Rajput said the results were announced on schedule due to the efforts of the board’s teachers and staff, and reaffirmed the commitment of the board to transparency in the examination and result compilation process.
Controller of Examinations Ahmed Khan Chhutto formally announced the results under the chairman’s directives. The chairman also said the board has begun computerized assessment of e-marked answer scripts for the SSC Part I (Class IX) annual examinations.
