The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved the initial public offering (IPO) of Agro Processors and Atmospheric Gases Limited, paving the way for the company to list its shares on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
According to the SECP, the company will offer 58.05 million shares to the public, representing 15% of its post-IPO paid-up capital.
The IPO will be conducted through the book-building method, with 75% of the offered shares allocated to institutional and high-net-worth investors. The remaining 25% will be reserved for retail investors.
Agro Processors and Atmospheric Gases Limited is engaged in the manufacturing, processing and sale of edible oils, vanaspati, industrial fats, margarine, spices and sauces.
The company’s IPO will provide investors with an opportunity to participate in the food and consumer products sector through the PSX.
The SECP has advised potential investors to carefully review the company’s prospectus before making any investment decision, particularly the risks associated with the IPO.
The approval marks another addition to Pakistan’s capital market as companies continue to explore public listings to raise funds and expand their operations.
