Fortnite & Arc Raiders Restored as A Major Gaming Outage Ends

Gamers can finally breathe a sigh of relief today. A turbulent Tuesday saw major platforms go dark. However, services for Fortnite, the Epic Games Store, and the hit extraction shooter Arc Raiders are officially back online now.

Thousands of players reported widespread connection failures yesterday, November 26. Fortunately, updates confirmed late last night indicate that all systems are fully operational again.

Epic Games Store & Fortnite Returns

The outage struck at a critical time. With many users enjoying time off for the Thanksgiving holiday, the blackout left thousands unable to access their favourite titles. The Epic Games Store, a massive hub for PC gaming, faced significant login issues. Consequently, users could not launch the store or access their libraries.

The problem extended far beyond the storefront. Epic’s flagship title, Fortnite, saw over 5,000 reports of outages on Downdetector. Players faced login failures rather than standard gameplay glitches. The blackout also impacted other popular titles under the Epic umbrella, including Rocket League and Fall Guys.

Thankfully, the downtime was temporary. As of the latest updates, Epic Games has resolved the login failures, and all three games are stable.

Arc Raiders Back in Action

The disruption was not limited to Epic’s internal catalogue. Arc Raiders, the recently released extraction shooter from Embark Studios, also suffered a significant service interruption yesterday.

Reports flooded in from over 1,000 users who could not enter the game. Since its release in late October 2025, Arc Raiders has maintained a high player count, making the downtime particularly noticeable. However, just like its counterparts, the game’s servers were successfully restored on November 26.

Players can now jump back into the action across all affected platforms. If you experienced trouble logging in yesterday, restart your clients today to ensure a smooth connection.
