Epic Games has officially updated the schedule for Fortnite. The developer delayed the end of The Simpsons mini-season by 12 hours.
Originally, the season was set to end on November 29 at 2:30 AM ET / 12:30 PM Pakistan Standard Time. However, this shift grants players additional time in Springfield. Players now have a few extra hours to finish their Battle Passes before the servers go dark.
This delay serves a specific purpose. The new time aligns perfectly with the upcoming “Zero Hour” live event. Scheduled for November 29 at 02:00 PM ET / November 30 at 12:00 AM Pakistan Standard Time, this event acts as the grand finale for the Chapter 6 storyline.
During this event, Hope and Jones will gather various characters to defeat the “Dark Presence”. Furthermore, the recent appearance of the “Incredible Bulk” connects directly to this storyline. Once the event concludes, downtime will begin immediately.
Many players are worried about a multi-day “Black Hole” outage. Fortunately, Epic Games confirmed the premiere of “The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge” for November 30. Therefore, fans can expect Fortnite to return with Chapter 7 just a few hours after the event ends.
The Simpsons crossover has been chaotic. It began when Kang and Kodos accidentally transported Hope and Jones to a Springfield map. Since then, Homer acquired a “Zero Point Shard” and spread chaos across the island. Players have battled lethal Donut Storms, Mutant Tomatoes, and Homer Clones.
With only two days left, you must act fast. Use this extended time to unlock the final Battle Pass rewards. Specifically, ensure you claim the Homer Simpson skin and his Evil alternative style. If you missed the lore, you can still catch up by completing the “Springfield Stories Quests” or watching the in-game animated shorts before the deadline.
