Fortnite x The Simpsons Mini-Season Brings Loads of Exciting Stuff

Epic Games has rolled out its most anticipated crossover yet, Fortnite x The Simpsons. The new mini-season will be officially launched today, November 1. It brings Springfield, iconic Simpsons characters, and even a dedicated TV episode to life inside the battle royale.

A Month in Springfield

The Simpsons mini-season replaces the current Battle Royale island for the month of November. Springfield will be the new battleground, featuring recognisable landmarks from the show. This short, themed season serves as the transition before Chapter 7 begins.

Springfield’s Named Locations:

  • Cletus’ Corn Hole
  • Springfield Nuclear Power Plant
  • Kamp Krusty
  • Burns Manor
  • Mayor’s Munchies
  • Springfield Town Square
  • Evergreen Terrace
  • Springfield Slurpworks
  • Donut District

Fortnite teased this crossover weeks ago during Fortnitemares, where players could spot Bart’s treehouse hidden within the map.

Complete Simpsons Battle Pass

Epic granted early access to select creators, allowing fans a closer look at the new Battle Pass. Streamer NickEh30, invited to Epic Games HQ, showcased the full pass, Springfield map, NPCs, and new weapons.

The Battle Pass features several Simpsons-themed skins:

  • Marge Simpson: Includes Witch Marge variant and Cart-a-Copter glider featuring Maggie.
  • Blinky Fishstick: a Hybrid of Fishstick and Blinky, the three-eyed fish.
  • Ned Flanders: With Stupid Sexy Skiing alternate style.
  • Homer Simpson: Includes Evil Homer bonus style.
  • Peely Simpson: Bonus skin, not shown in previews.

While Bart and Krusty appear in loading screens, they aren’t part of the Battle Pass. Bart Simpson’s skin is expected in the Item Shop today, while Krusty’s release remains unconfirmed.

Apocalypse D’Oh!: A Fortnite-Themed Simpsons Episode

As part of the crossover, Fox is premiering a special Simpsons episode titled “Apocalypse D’Oh!” today on Disney+. The episode centres around the Fortnite collaboration and was discovered through new Disney+ listings by Fortnite fans.

Rumours suggest players may even be able to watch the episode in-game through a large screen event, though Epic has not confirmed this.

Epic is also introducing Companions, a new cosmetic type that lets players bring animal sidekicks into battle. Future leaks hint at Disney-themed sidekicks coming soon.

The Simpsons mini-season is now live. There are plenty of things to explore, from Springfield’s landmarks to the crossover episode that bridges two pop-culture giants. Fortnite fans have enough content to keep them busy for a while.
