Fortnite x The Simpsons: Simpsons Just Offed The Popular ‘Peely’
Fortnite and The Simpsons have taken their crossover to a new level. What started as a collaboration inside the Epic Games title has now extended into the animated world of Springfield. But it didn’t end well for one of Fortnite’s most beloved mascots, Peely.
The Simpsons officially joined Fortnite on November 1, adding familiar faces like Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. However, the crossover quickly turned chaotic when The Simpsons decided to feature Fortnite characters in its latest episode.
Peely’s Unfortunate Demise in The Simpsons
In Season 37, Episode 5, titled “Bad Boys… For Life?“, several Fortnite characters make their Springfield debut. These characters include Jonesy, Meowscles, Fishstick, and Peely.
The scene starts with the characters being held at gunpoint on the Simpson family’s couch. As they attempt to flee, Peely slips and falls, meeting a grim but off-screen end. The moment takes a darkly comic twist when the Simpsons later sit down for dinner and eat a banana split sundae made from Peely’s body.
It’s a hilariously morbid gag that perfectly fits The Simpsons’ trademark humour.

Despite the gruesome scene, fans can still celebrate Peely in-game. Fortnite has introduced a new Springfielder Peely skin. The skin is inspired by this episode’s version of the banana mascot, minus the sundae-filled torso.
Peely has long been one of Fortnite’s most iconic faces, even though he wasn’t part of the game’s original lineup. His appearance in The Simpsons highlights just how far Fortnite’s cultural reach has grown over the years.
A Fortnite Crossover Worth Remembering
Fortnite’s collaborations have touched nearly every corner of pop culture. But teaming up with The Simpsons, one of television’s most enduring shows since 1989, is a standout moment.
With The Simpsons movie sequel set for 2027, fans are already wondering if Homer, Bart, and Peely might reunite for another unforgettable crossover.
