Galaxy S25 Edge Slim Design Revealed at Samsung Unpacked Event

Samsung wrapped up Wednesday’s Unpacked event with the teaser of the Galaxy S25 Edge, an exciting new addition to its lineup. While details about this sleek and “slim” device remain under wraps, the announcement has already ignited a buzz across the tech world.

The highly anticipated Galaxy S25 Slim will debut as the Galaxy S25 Edge, this sleek device brings back the  “Edge” branding, a nod to its last appearance with the Galaxy S7 Edge in 2016.

Reportedly, the thickness of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is a mere 6.4 mm. That’s really thin. It would be the thinnest Galaxy phone ever.

Samsung keeps releasing innovative new models, like the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, which are part of the company’s flagship phone series.

Notable hardware enhancements and advanced AI capabilities are found in the S25 series, with features including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, improved camera systems, and AI-powered capabilities.

The availability of the Galaxy S25 Edge has been verified by a representative from Samsung South Africa. The markets that will get it include the US and Korea. However, it won’t be offered in South Africa at first. It is possible that additional markets will get the phone in a subsequent release.

Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 Edge is being compared to the expected iPhone Air because both have a slim design.

The Galaxy S25 Edge would be a great choice for individuals who care about design and performance because, despite its slim appearance, it would keep all of the Galaxy S25 series’ essential features. There have been rumours that the Galaxy S25 Edge could be released as soon as May.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the S25 Edge will be available in the first half of this year at a lower price than the S25 Ultra, which costs $1,299.
