Galaxy S26 Series Promises Stunning Zoom Shots in New Samsung Teasers

Published by

Samsung may launch its new Galaxy S26 series on February 25. The company has not confirmed the date yet. Still, it has started sharing teaser videos that give us a clear hint about what is coming next. The focus this time seems to be the camera.

Samsung released short teaser videos. In one of them, a person zooms in on a dog sitting inside a car. The zoom goes far beyond 10x, which suggests great improvements. However, Samsung also mentions that the video includes AI-generated backgrounds. This means software plays a big role in the final result.

Leaks give us more details about the camera setup. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to feature a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It may also include a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. These numbers suggest Samsung wants sharper zoom shots without losing detail.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ may not see huge changes. Reports say they could get an upgraded 12MP 3x telephoto camera. If not, Samsung might keep the same 10MP telephoto lens from the Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung also teased better low-light video performance. The other video highlight brighter and clearer footage in dark settings. This could help users capture better night videos without heavy noise or blur.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra may also bring changes to the main camera. It is tipped to feature an improved 200MP primary rear camera with an f/1.4 aperture. A wider f/1.4 aperture allows more light into the sensor. As a result, photos taken at night could look sharper and more detailed.

The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to launch on February 25. Sales may begin in March, depending on the region. Like before, Samsung will likely use different processors in different markets. Some regions may get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Others could receive the Exynos 2600 chipset. However, Samsung has not shared official specifications.
