Google Pixel 4 XL renders reveal triple rear cameras and dual selfie cameras

You thought Google will rely on its artificial intelligence algorithms and other software tweaks to maintain its camera standards for upcoming Pixel phones, the new renders leak might prove you wrong.

The new leak of Google Pixel 4 XL which will be purportedly a successor of Google Pixel 3 XL has surfaced online, with dual cameras on the front and triple on the back. The leak has been posted by OnLeaks, one of the reliable source in smartphone industry. The tweet posted by Steve H.McFly and the video made with the collaboration of PriceBaba, gives us a comprehensive look at the phone from all angles.

As for the Google Pixel 4 that has yet to arrive as well, previous leaks were so bad in taste that Google took to Twitter itself to showcase its own official renders. However, that seems highly unlikely to happen again here with the Pixel XL variant. Since most of the design of XL variant has already been revealed, these latest renders only solved a couple of riddles for us especially regarding the display.

According to the renders’ video, there is a substantial top bezel on the front hosting what appears to be two cameras and another sensor. This sensor could either be a proximity sensor or a new sensor for rumored face unlock functionality. The video also highlights a blank area on the right side of the top bezel, potentially housing the facial recognition sensors.

Moreover, a slim bezel at the bottom of the Google Pixel 4 XL render can also be seen which has no visible fingerprint scanner mounted on it. These renders also fail to show a rear fingerprint scanner, suggesting that Google is either going all-in on face unlock or adopting an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, you will find two main cameras, along with what appears to be a much smaller camera above the two main shooters and LED flash on the rear.

Last but not least, Google has affirmed that Night Sight would be available sometime “next month,” and we have apparently reached that time. So, it is likely Night Sight will finally begin rolling out for the Pixel 3, Pixel 2, and other Pixel devices as well.
