Audio Overview
The Gemini team provided Audio Overview as a tool for converting documents, presentations, and reports into spoken podcast discussions. The hosts within Gemini, which are AI-generated, execute content summarisation and key point analysis to facilitate the sharing of complex information through entertaining insights during mobile sessions.
NotebookLM’s Audio Overview function was relocated from Google to Gemini, where it is available to all users at no cost. Google will announce forthcoming support for multiple languages, which will expand the current English-only restriction to include other languages.
Following the upload of the document, the suggestion chip located above the prompt bar is activated to initiate the user process of creating an Audio Overview. Within minutes, users can access AI-generated discussions through Gemini, which they can share or download as audio for the convenience of their web and mobile devices.
